We produce our wine at Terravant, the terrific new local facility in Buellton that we and many other small winemakers use.

Part of this state-of-the-art facility is Avant Tapas & Wine, which is a tasting room for the 30-some wineries there, including Thorne. The word "avant" means "stylistically advanced" and on any given day guests can find several vintners pouring their wines at the contemporary tasting bar or select from 32 different wines to experience in a self-guided tour using the wine station's cutting-edge dispensers. Avant's selection of tapas offer the perfect savory counterpoint to your favorite wines and are made fresh throughout the day and evening.
